WELCOME!!!
   I had to create this web site because of the great enthusiasm I have for the space program. It is dedicated to ALL of the people involved in the space program. By that I truly mean ALL the people, past present and future who were involved in every way, with any of the programs in NASA. I am sure that for every astronaut launched in the shuttle there are thousand people who helped to get them to that seat. From the wright brothers who got this ball rolling to the X-1 to the X-15 and everybody in between who got the shuttle and space program where it is.

The bravery and valor of all those people and the families who support that dream, is beyond comprehension by most of us mere mortals. We ALL owe them a great deal. for their dedication, commitment and service to our country!  They have dedicated their lives to the dream of flight and sometimes paid the ultimate price of loosing their lives in the process. Just ask the families of STS-51l or STS-107, to name a few.

   I think the reality of flight started with the bicycle makers, Orville and Wilber Wright. Maybe even further back with Galileo who possibly was the first person to have the dream of flight, or at least the dream of being able to escape the bonds of gravity. The dream that spread around the world. We all share that dream.

   I often wonder what the Wright brothers would think of what they started. If they could only see the flight of a Boeing 747 or the pure magic of watching a shuttle launch into space and return safely. 

   I don't think they could have imagined what they started with that simple dream of flight they had that day, in the back of a small bicycle repair shop.
